Are you a legislator, senator, governor, member of the military, law enforcement officer, or similar public servant who has witnessed the consequences of this administration’s immigration policies from inside the system? Whether you’ve experienced the ethical strain of enforcing unjust orders, watched legal norms erode in real time, or seen firsthand how policies have fractured communities, you are not alone, and your voice is urgently needed.
We’re calling on public servants like you to share your stories. And we’re committed to protecting your identity and safety if you choose to remain anonymous.
Why This Matters Now
Immigration policy under this administration has shifted dramatically, marked by expanded executive authority, mass deportation efforts, redefined asylum standards, family separation, and the suppression of due process. While some of these actions make headlines, others unfold quietly—on military bases, in police stations, courtrooms, and statehouses.
You have a front-row seat to how these policies are applied, abused, or resisted.
We know the decision to speak out is not easy. That’s why we offer complete anonymity and absolute confidentiality for those who need it. Your protection is not an afterthought. It is a cornerstone of this project.
Who We’re Listening To
We are seeking submissions from:
Elected officials (local, state, and federal);
Policy advisors and agency staffers;
Judges, defenders, and prosecutors;
Military personnel and veterans;
Law enforcement officers and immigration agents; and
Whistleblowers, watchdogs, and public employees involved in enforcement or oversight.
Whether you helped write the policy, were asked to enforce it, tried to push back, or witnessed its consequences, your perspective is essential.
What to Submit (Among Other Things)
We welcome:
Personal essays or first-person accounts;
Policy reflections, testimony, or open letters;
De-identified narratives or anonymous memos; and/or
Observations from the field—what you’ve seen, felt, or been forced to do.
Topics may include:
Unjust enforcement practices or deportations;
Racial or religious profiling;
Erosion of due process and constitutional protections;
Internal pressure to act against legal or moral judgment;
Community impact or resistance; and
Your hopes for reform or accountability.
We will honor any request for anonymity. If chosen for publication, your story will be de-identified and shared only with your explicit consent.
This Is About Integrity, Not Exposure
You swore to uphold the Constitution, not to enable injustice. Now, your voice can help restore what’s been broken. We’re not asking you to make a political statement. This has nothing to do with politics. All we are asking you to do is to tell the truth. Remember: history doesn’t just remember the architects of harm—it remembers those who stood up to it.
Submission Guidelines
We welcome submissions across all open categories. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure your work is properly considered:
File Uploads: You may include up to five files with your submission. Accepted formats include Word documents, PDFs, audio recordings, photographs, and video files that support or accompany your written narrative.
Cover Letter: A cover letter is required for all submissions. This should briefly introduce you, explain the context of your piece, and note whether anonymity is requested.
Document Format: Written submissions must be formatted as a Word Document or PDF, using 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, and clearly titled.
Deadline: Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, unless otherwise stated in your specific call.
Anonymity and Privacy: If you request anonymity, we will remove all identifying details and handle your submission with the highest level of confidentiality. Your safety and privacy are a core priority of this project. We adhere to strict ethical editorial standards to protect every contributor.
Please carefully review the specific submission requirements for the call you’re responding to before submitting. We look forward to hearing your story—and honoring it with the care it deserves.
I'm very interested in submitting, but I'm concerned about potential backlash. Can you have someone reach out to me?
