This group exists to document verified reports of vanity presses, predatory contests, questionable “publishing packages,” and other practices that target emerging writers. Posts must be factual, specific, and based on direct experience or publicly verifiable information. Speculation, personal disputes, or unsupported claims will not be allowed. The purpose is to provide writers with reliable warnings so they can avoid costly or deceptive practices.
